About MelanMark

What is MelanMark?

MelanMark is a curated online marketplace exclusively featuring verified Black-owned businesses. Every brand on the platform has been reviewed and confirmed before their store goes live.

Who can shop on MelanMark?

Everyone. MelanMark features Black-owned brands, but is open to all shoppers looking to discover quality products and support Black-owned businesses.

Is everything on MelanMark Black-owned?

Yes. Every vendor on MelanMark is a Black-owned business based in the U.S. No brand is listed without our verification.

How are vendors verified?

Every vendor goes through a manual application and review process. We confirm Black-owned status individually before any store goes live.

Can anyone sell on MelanMark?

No. MelanMark is exclusively for Black-owned businesses based in the U.S. Vendors must apply and be approved before listing products.

Shopping & Orders

How do I place an order?

Browse the marketplace, add items to your cart, and check out. You can check out as a guest without creating an account.

What payment methods are accepted?

MelanMark accepts all major credit/debit cards and secure digital payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely.

Can I order from multiple vendors in one checkout?

Yes. You can add products from multiple vendors to a single cart and complete one checkout. Each vendor will fulfill their portion of your order separately.

Will I receive a confirmation email?

Yes. You'll receive an order confirmation email once your purchase is complete.

Shipping

How does shipping work?

Each vendor manages their own shipping. Rates, timelines, and carriers vary by vendor and are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Does MelanMark ship internationally?

No. MelanMark is a U.S.-based marketplace and vendors ship within the United States only.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, your vendor will provide tracking information. You can also log in to your account to view your order status.

Returns & Refunds

What is the return policy?

Returns and refunds are handled by the individual vendor. Each vendor's return policy is available on their store page. If a vendor does not have a stated policy, MelanMark's general return policy applies.

How do I request a return or refund?

Contact the vendor directly through their store page. If you're unable to resolve the issue with the vendor, visit our Contact Us page and we'll step in.

How long do refunds take?

Once a refund is approved, please allow a few business days for the amount to appear in your account.

Accounts

Do I need an account to shop?

No. You can check out as a guest. An account is automatically created if you opt in during checkout, which lets you track orders and view order history.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Go to melanmark.com/my-account and click "Lost your password?" to reset it.
